Meet our Leadership Team

Jerry Fong
Assistant Principal
Jerry Fong joined the BHS team as Assistant Principal in fall 2026. He brings over two decades of combined corporate and educational experience, having served most recently as Assistant Principal at Mountain View Middle School for three years.
After graduating from the University of Washington in 1997, Jerry worked in HR at UPS, where earning a Master’s in Business sparked his passion for teaching. He went on to earn a Master’s in Teaching and spent 16 years teaching Business, Computer Science, and CTE in the Franklin Pierce School District, later serving as Dean of Students at Keithley Middle School.
In his free time, Jerry enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies, and honing his skills on the golf course.

Jeff Streck
Assistant Principal
Jeff Streck began his career in education in 1989 at Bremerton High School, where he taught mathematics for 18 years. In 2008, he moved into his current role as assistant principal, and for the past 36 years, BHS has truly been his home away from home.
“Several years ago, I started meeting students at BHS whose parents I had once taught or coached. It’s a pretty cool experience,” Jeff reflects.
Beyond school, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family and taking his motorcycle out for a ride on sunny days.

Mitchell Judie
Athletic Director
Mitchell Judie was previously the Assistant Principal and Athletic Coordinator at Mountain View Middle School, having previously served as the Dean of Students and Athletic Coordinator.
Before becoming the Dean/Athletic Coordinator at MVMS, Mr. Judie taught Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 at Bremerton High School.
Before becoming a teacher, Mr. Judie was a 0341 Mortarman in the Marine Corps Infantry for 4.5 years. He went to college after his time in the Marines, earning his teaching and administration certificates from Central Washington University (Go Wildcats!).
Mr. Judie is especially grateful for his wife's support throughout his educational journey, whose encouragement has helped make each step along the way possible. He is also thankful for the Bremerton School District administrators who believed in him, gave him opportunities to grow, and trusted him with leadership roles throughout his career.
"I will never forget the teachers, counselors, coaches, principals, janitors, and other school staff who helped, taught, listened to, sympathized with, guided, and believed in me when I was a kid. I'm here in education to do the same," said Mr. Judie.
When he's not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and watching TV & movies.
Principal Perspectives
The Bremerton School District kicked off a new video series during the 2025-26 school year, highlighting the perspectives of our school principals. 🎬 Each week via the District's Facebook and Instagram pages, our community gets an inside look at what makes our schools special, straight from the principals themselves.
