Leadership Changes
Dear BHS Families,

We want to share some updates regarding leadership changes at Bremerton High School.

  • Melanie Garrett: Assistant Principal Melanie Garrett will be transitioning to a new role focused on supporting Special Education services for all secondary students (BHS, MVMS and RHS).
  • Mitchell Judie: We're excited to welcome Mr. Judie back to BHS as an Assistant Principal. Mr. Judie previously taught math at Bremerton High School before serving as assistant principal at Mountain View Middle School and Armin Jahr Elementary.

We appreciate your continued support as we work to provide the best possible education for our students.

A letter from Mr. Judie
Dear Bremerton High School students and families,

I am thrilled to introduce myself as your new assistant principal. Returning to Bremerton High School feels like coming home, as I previously had the privilege of teaching algebra here. I am excited to once again work alongside this incredible community of students, families, and staff.

As an educator, I am deeply passionate about providing students with a safe and supportive environment where they can learn, grow, and prepare for their futures. I firmly believe that strong relationships are the foundation for student success, and I am committed to fostering connections that empower and inspire our students to achieve their full potential.

I also embrace the power of a growth mindset, both in myself and in our students. In a world that is evolving rapidly, adaptability, perseverance, and a love of learning are essential. My goal is to help every student develop the confidence and skills needed to thrive in this dynamic world.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if there’s anything I can do to support you or your student. My door is always open, and I look forward to collaborating with you as we continue to make Bremerton High School a place where every student can succeed. Go Knights!

With enthusiasm,

Mitchell Judie
Assistant Principal
