Associated Student Body (ASB)

Associated Student Body Leadership

The Associated Student Body of Bremerton High School consists of every student officially enrolled at BHS. There are several leadership bodies that represent our students. The role of all of these bodies of ASB leadership is to make BHS a better place and help students feel more connected to school and have a stronger sense of belonging.

The ASB Executives run an official ASB Instagram account @bremertonasb. Each class also has their own Instagram: @bhsknights2025, @bhsknights2026, @bhsknights2027, etc. These accounts are student-led.

ASB Executives

These students oversee the whole student body and plan events for the whole school, including Homecoming, pep assemblies, spirit weeks, and many other events open to all students. The ASB officers also oversee the ASB budget.

Class Officers

Each class (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior) has class officers who are elected each year to represent their class, plan activities to help promote positive culture and school spirit among their classmates, and fundraise for their class.

Student Council

The student council consists of all ASB and Class Officers, sports captains, club presidents, and Knight Skills (home room) representatives. The Student Council meets once a month for a regular council meeting to discuss upcoming events, cultural recognition months, and for representatives to have a chance to bring up questions and concerns and have them addressed by the Council. The Council also participates in an annual Constitutional Convention.

Constitutional Convention

Each year, ASB holds a Constitutional Convention during which they review the current ASB Constitution, make proposals for amendments, have discussions on how these proposed changes can affect our school, and pass amendments, if needed/desired by the participants.

ASB Elections

Elections for officer positions take place in the Winter/Spring for the following year. Club presidents, sports captains, and Knight Skills representatives are generally chosen at the beginning of the current year/season.

ASB Cards

ASB cards are $40. They can be purchased in-person (cash, credit card or check) at the activities window, or online (credit card only).

Students who wish to purchase an ASB “card” (a sticker that goes on their ID making it an ASB card) may do so at the Athletics/Activities window during both lunches and after school until 3:30pm. This card gives students free entrance to athletic events and discount tickets on school activities like dances and plays. Students participating in sports must have an ASB card.

Some students may qualify for a free ASB sticker based on family income.

Some students may qualify for a free ASB sticker based on family income. Families who qualify must complete THIS FORM (Spanish) and return it via email to cns@BremertonSchools.org or at the BHS Athletics/Activities window. This form must be submitted and eligibility must be confirmed prior to students receiving the free ASB sticker. These forms are also available in the main office.  This information remains confidential.
