Erin Wilkinson
Principal
Bremerton High School
Before joining the Bremerton School District as principal of Bremerton High School in the fall of 2024, Mrs. Wilkinson served as assistant principal at Yelm High School. In her more than 18 years in education, she's also served as the Dean of Students in the Clover Park School District, taught middle and high school English Language Arts in the Shelton School District, and was an instructional coach in the Washoe County School District in Reno, Nevada.
As a leader, she strongly believes in actively promoting, supporting, and contributing to a positive school culture and climate where all members of the learning community know they are welcome, appreciated, and belong.
In her free time, Mrs. Wilkinson enjoys cooking, hiking, reading, playing vintage arcade games, and spending time with her family and her pet Newfoundland, Piper. She and her husband will be celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary this year.
John Prosser
Assistant Principal
Bremerton High School
Mr. Prosser is excited to begin his third year as an Assistant Principal at Bremerton High School, having joined the district for the 2023-2024 school year. Focused on building strong relationships with students, family, staff, and the community, Mr. Prosser believes that all students deserve to feel welcomed, safe, and cared for at school.
Before joining the Bremerton School District, Mr. Prosser taught for 11 years in both the Tacoma Public Schools and the Puyallup School District, grades 6-8, and served 3 years as an Assistant Principal at Bethel High School. Before returning to public education as a guest teacher in 2009, Mr. Prosser was a practicing attorney in Fircrest.
Mr. Prosser is a committed lifelong learner. He graduated from Western Washington University with his BA in Philosophy and his K-8 teaching certification, from Boston College with his MEd, and from the Seattle University School of Law with his JD. He earned his principal certification from Western in 2019 and is proud to have studied abroad with the Semester at Sea program in the summer of 2000.
Most importantly, Mr. Prosser is a dad to three amazing children (7th, 10th, & 12th graders) who split their time between Texas and Washington, and who he couldn’t be more proud of.
Jeff Streck
Assistant Principal
Bremerton High School
Jeff Streck began his career in education in 1989 at Bremerton High School, where he taught mathematics for 18 years. In 2008, he moved into his current role as assistant principal, and for the past 36 years, BHS has truly been his home away from home.
“Several years ago, I started meeting students at BHS whose parents I had once taught or coached. It’s a pretty cool experience,” Jeff reflects.
Beyond school, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family and taking his motorcycle out for a ride on sunny days.
