Welcome to Bremerton High School Class of 2029!
Course Selection for 9th grade happens in the spring of 8th grade!
Registration Process
Registration forms will be handed out by to all eighth grade students in early February. Students are encouraged to take the form home and discuss course offerings with their parents/guardians.
Choose your classes
- Choose one class from each core subject area.
- Choose electives and alternates.
- Clearly write course codes and course titles on your registration form.
Get signatures
- A parent/guardian signature is needed on your registration form.
Turn in your registration form
- Turn in your registration form to your 8th grade science teacher.

Nuts & Bolts
- Students typically take 6 classes per day.
- Students earn .50 credit per class each semester.
- Students have a 1/2-hour lunch.
- Lunches are determined by the location of their 4th period class.
- Get involved! BHS offers many extracurricular (sports & clubs). There is something for everyone!
Knight Skills
All students will be enrolled in a Knight Skills class which is their “home room” that they will remain in through all four years of high school. In Knight Skills, students learn academic strategies for success and participate in career/college exploration and High School and Beyond planning.

Honors: Students have the option to select English 9 Honors.

Science Classes: Most 9th graders will take Physical Science & Engineering. AP Environmental Science is offered for advanced science students.
